A global action in support of the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action on April 4, used by many to call on the U.S. to ban landmines and join the Mine Ban Treaty.

In celebration of April 4th, the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, thousands of people in more than 70 countries have rolled up their pant leg and stood side-by-side with survivors and mine-affected communities to call for a an end to the harm landmines still cause.

The U.S. Campaign to Ban Landmines joined the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL) in the "Lend Your Leg" campaign action to demand an end to the scourge of antipersonnel mines and once again call on the Obama Administration to conclude the landmine policy review that began in 2009 and join the 1997 Mine Ban Treaty without further delay.
